J. Richard Stamm is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Coastal Abstract & Title, a premier title insurance company renowned for its exceptional service and expertise. With a strong background in finance and operations, Rick plays a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy and overall growth of the company.
In addition to his role at Coastal Abstract, Rick is the Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer of Stamm Development Group (SDG), a national real estate development firm with offices in Philadelphia, PA, and Delray Beach, FL. In his role with SDG, Rick is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial matters. Rick also handles investor and lender relations and advises on the tax and financial aspects of our projects.
Prior to joining Stamm Development Group in 2016, Rick retired as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he served clients and held various leadership positions over his 40-year career, including US and then Global Leader of PwC’s tax business, over the final 12 years of his career.
Rick is a graduate of Lycoming College with a degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is an emeritus member of the Board of Advisors for the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California and is an Independent Director of Vertex, Inc. He was formerly a member of the Boards of Germantown Academy and Lycoming College. Rick is a member of The Union League of Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Cricket Club, Union League National Golf Club and The Country Club at Mirasol.
